Rooted in centuries of culinary tradition, stone chapati boards were once essential tools in Indian kitchens, used for rolling out the unleavened flatbread known as chapati. Dating back to the Bronze Age, these round, low-profile boards were typically crafted with three short legs for stability. Today, their timeless form lends itself beautifully to modern use—as a pedestal for candles, a platform for artful displays, or simply as a sculptural accent. Each piece is one of a kind, with variations in size, shape, and weathered patina that reflect its age and origins.
