This vintage Persian hand-knotted rug features a classic Heriz-style geometric medallion pattern rendered in a soft, time-washed palette of slate blue, warm taupe, ivory, and muted charcoal. Woven in the Heriz region of northwest Iran, known for durable tribal construction and bold angular motifs. This piece displays beautifully aged abrash (color variation), adding depth and authenticity to its character.
The low pile and gently distressed wear reflect its age and handwoven origin, giving it a relaxed, lived-in elegance that layers seamlessly into both traditional and modern interiors.
