This antique French tian diary bowl features a traditional wide-mouthed, shallow terracotta form with a characteristic rich umber glaze on the interior and rim, used historically in southern France for preparing and serving dairy and other food. The unglazed exterior showcases its rustic, hand-thrown nature, with age-worn patina and subtle irregularities that speak to its utilitarian past. It's a beautiful example of 19th-century Provençal pottery, blending functionality with timeless charm.
